Doc Otis is a junkyard jalopy jazz, steamboat swing-slathered sax guitar (sometimes percussion) which has been distilled in the lead-laden foothills of the Missouri Ozarks & deep fat fried in a vat of the Big Easy.
Doc Otis’s sound is a combined result of the insanely high lead contaminates they were subjected to from very early ages, coupled with their experiences of sight and sound in New Orleans.
Combining the dark insanity of junkyard jazz, an upbeat yet soot covered steamboat swing then, deep fat fried in a vat of the Big Easy, Doc Otis creates their very own unique and danceable soundscape.
